Humanoid Origin, a studio founded by Mass Effect franchise creator Casey Hudson, has closed without releasing a single game.
Three years have passed since the company opened, during which time the organization planned to release a certain AAA project. The game was created in a science fiction setting, but it never reached release. What Hudson himself will do after the closure of Humanoid Origin is not yet known.

In short, the company is aware of the problem and is solving it.
It will be an animated prequel series.
