Information has appeared online that the developers of Star Citizen have already managed to raise more than $750 million for the production of their game.
In November alone, the CIG studio raised $15 million (in previous years, they managed to raise up to $25 million during the same period). What is noteworthy is that the company celebrated this latest achievement by firing some of the developers without paying them severance pay. As insider Tom Henderson noted, it was mainly the testers who lost their jobs.
Star Citizen still has no release date.
