Civilization VII has changed the era system

Civilization VII developers talk about the changed era system.

The creators had to make adjustments in order to motivate players to bring matches to the final. In the new part of the strategy series, there will be three eras, and at the start of each of them, gamers will choose a new civilization. Thus, even the late game will be as interesting as the start of the match, when the participants in the session chose the development paths of their nation and made significant decisions.

The release of Civilization VII is scheduled for February 11, 2025.
