The developers of the shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm have released a fresh patch that adds crossplay support to the game.
From now on, PC and console owners can play together. Of course, the function can be disabled, as most owners of portable platforms will probably do. It is known that PC users are the ones who turn on cheats, violating in-game rules, and therefore console players are unlikely to highly appreciate the introduced functionality.
In addition, Insurgency: Sandstorm has a Skirmish mode, in which two teams of 14 people try to capture points and blow up an enemy cache.
The action game also received a content update.
