The Chinese authorities have launched an investigation against Nvidia based on accusations that the company is creating a monopoly.
In particular, the state is interested in the deal with Mellanox Technologies, which took place in 2020. At that time, the authorities approved the merger of the organizations, but, apparently, Nvidia violated the terms of the agreement somewhere and somehow. Perhaps the investigation was launched, among other things, due to the sanctions imposed by the United States against China, which prohibit the supply of chips to China for the production of equipment.
Interestingly, the United States is also interested in Nvidia's work. France is also showing interest in antitrust activities regarding the brand.
Nvidia may probably soon have serious problems.
