Mafia: The Old Country Will Not Be a Reboot of the Series

The Hangar 13 team shared fresh details about their next project called Mafia: The Old Country.

According to the developers, the new game will not be a reboot of the series, but will be a prequel to the main trilogy. The game's plot will introduce us to a new protagonist who will live in the era of the formation of the Italian mafia. In Mafia: The Old Country, battles will become more tactical, and the graphics will be significantly improved thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 5 technologies.

Mafia: The Old Country is officially released in the summer of 2025.
