Minecraft 2 can't wait

Markus Persson, who is the creator of Minecraft, announced that he has started working on a new game.

However, this is not a sequel to the voxel sandbox that fans of the universe have been asking him about. Despite the fact that Minecraft 2 won the vote for what game gamers would like to see from Persson, the developer still decided to take on another project.

In a new post, Markus said that exploiting nostalgia would be unwise and boring. Although many gamers assumed that he was simply threatened with a lawsuit if he decided to make Minecraft 2.

Well, now we can expect some kind of roguelike with a first-person view from Persson. The release date of the game is not yet known.
