The creators of the fan film based on The Legend of Zelda have announced the closure of the project.
The film, called Lost in Hyrule, raised funds through Kickstarter. True, it was not entirely successful, the campaign started on January 19 and was cancelled on February 3. The authors collected 23,000 euros out of the required 29,000 euros, but apparently this was not enough.
Moreover, now all the money will have to be returned, since Nintendo's lawyers have succeeded in closing Lost in Hyrule. The developers simply did not have the right to use the franchise for commercial purposes, and therefore fans of the franchise will not see another creation of other fans.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have received an unpleasant surprise: the releases of two key films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have been officially postponed to later dates. Both blockbusters will be delayed by six months compared to the previously announced dates.
The film adaptation of the popular horror Until Dawn has finally been released in digital format - exactly one month after its premiere in foreign cinemas. The film, based on the cult game, is now available online thanks to Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
