Lightning tornadoes appear in Fortnite

Epic Games has added a new tornado and lightning mechanic to its Fortnite battle royale. These weather effects will randomly appear during regular matches (they won't appear in ranked games yet), having a significant impact on gameplay.

When falling, you will not receive damage, so a tornado can be used as a kind of springboard. As for lightning, when they hit the character, they will inflict a small amount of damage to him, but at the same time, you will receive a small boost in speed for a while.

According to the developers, until January 17, the chance to meet a tornado in a match has been increased.
