On March 26, the cross-platform multiplayer action game Tanks Blitz received its new 11.10 update, which launched the new event "Expedition to Mars" and introduced the "Martian Rebels" tank line. We've gathered all the detailed information about the event and the new battle machines for you!
According to the story, the "Martian Rebels" were created by a group of scientists from the "Penguin Glacier" laboratory. Due to their deadly experiments, these brilliant minds did not gain fame on Earth and instead established the Extreme Advanced Technologies Park (EATP) on Mars, where they worked on developing and improving combat vehicles. By the way, the tanks are named after geniuses who were often misunderstood by their contemporaries.
The main feature of the "Martian Rebels" is the new multi-barrel turret block, which allows players to shoot in two modes — salvo from all guns or drum-type. The player can switch to the desired mode at any time, which takes only 3 seconds.
The multi-barrel weapon of each tank provides incredible firepower, which became the main advantage of this technology. This is counterbalanced by less durable armor. In some ways, this approach changes the usual game rules.
The new line consists of 6 different tanks — one for each level from V to X. Of these, the premium tank is the MB-73 Copernicus of level VIII.
All new tanks:
Undoubtedly, the pinnacle of progress is the level X tank, MB-64 Galileo, which has a solid durability, good rate of fire, and incredible firepower.
The scientists from EATP plan to reveal the results of their work to everyone on April 30, and at that time, these tanks will be available for study with combat or free experience. However, you don’t have to wait for that date as you can get the new battle machines right now!
The "Expedition to Mars" event started on March 26. Throughout this event, players can obtain each of the listed battle machines.
Here’s how to do it:
Special attention should be given to the MB-64 Galileo. Players who unlock and buy this tank before the event ends will receive a special gift. Those who manage to complete 100 combat sorties in the level X tank will be awarded a secret prize.
From March 26 to April 2, blueprints are given to each participant in the "Expedition to Mars" event for gold. After that, until April 30, the blueprint farming method mentioned above will be supplemented by chests for completing daily tasks, but no more than 6 per day.
Important. All accumulated blueprints will be saved on the account and can be used in other events later.
The "Expedition to Mars" event giveaway will unlock special Research Cases in six types. Inside them, you are guaranteed to find between 15 and 200 blueprints, in-game currency, experience, boosters, avatars, profile backgrounds, hangar attributes, camouflage, and one of 29 premium machines of level VIII.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have received an unpleasant surprise: the releases of two key films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have been officially postponed to later dates. Both blockbusters will be delayed by six months compared to the previously announced dates.
The film adaptation of the popular horror Until Dawn has finally been released in digital format - exactly one month after its premiere in foreign cinemas. The film, based on the cult game, is now available online thanks to Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
