Erotic game No Mercy removed from Steam

This happened after criticism from the authorities and public organizations.
Erotic game No Mercy removed from Steam

Zerat Games' No Mercy is no longer available on Steam. The decision follows a controversy that erupted a few days ago when the game was pulled from sale in the UK, Canada, and Australia. The reason was the game's violent and incestuous content, which caused outrage among British authorities and the Women in Games organization.

Following the controversy, the developers officially confirmed that No Mercy would be completely removed from Steam in all regions. However, Zerat Games did not back down from its work and issued a statement defending the game. According to them, incest in real life is certainly "disgusting", but such themes, along with violence and male dominance, are "popular fetishes" among some audiences.

"We understand that such things can be offensive, but in the context of sexual fantasies, people should be free to do what they want as long as it does not harm anyone," the studio said.

The developers also expressed regret if their game was considered unacceptable to anyone, but called on the public to be more open to human fantasies, even if they seem unpleasant.

“This is just a game, and despite attempts to present it differently, it will remain a game,” Zerat Games emphasized.
