Announcement of the domestic simulator Dreadmoor based on Lovecraft

Yesterday, the Russian studio Dream Dock presented its new project — Dreadmoor, a first-person fishing simulator with an atmosphere of post-apocalyptic horror. The game is inspired by the sea horror Dredge and the works of H. P. Lovecraft, from which it draws not only a dark aesthetic, but also a sense of disturbing uncertainty.

The events of Dreadmoor take place in a world that has survived a nuclear disaster. The player will have to take control of a fisherman who sets off on a dangerous voyage through flooded territories to catch fish, explore destroyed lands and encounter frightening creatures from the depths.

In addition to catching and trading fish, the player will be able to find rare artifacts among the remains of flooded cities, improve their trawler and equipment, and enter into trade relations with local inhabitants who are ready to exchange valuable resources for loot.

The project is being developed for PC, there is no release date yet. It is known that the game will be fully localized into Russian.
