Baldur's Gate 3 creators explain their refusal to create add-ons for the game

Larian studio head and founder Sven Vincke explained the team's refusal to produce add-ons or a direct sequel to Baldur's Gate 3.

According to the developer, such work seemed very boring to him and his colleagues. The game's story ended as it should have, and therefore stretching out the narrative would be inappropriate. In addition, the company has much more ambitious plans, and therefore, after the end of support for Baldur's Gate 3, the team enthusiastically took up the creation of their next major title.

It, like all previous Larian games, will be in the format of a role-playing game with a non-linear plot.
