According to the source, it is a certain story title that the developers did not have time to announce. The reason for the cancellation is not given, but it is probably about money. The game was developed by Rinit Agarwal, who left the studio in January of this year. After that, the management decided not to continue working on it, but to switch to other tasks.
Currently, Naughty Dog is working on The Last of Us 3 and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The release of the latter is expected in a year or two.
