At the next exhibition, Microsoft announced a remaster of the cult shooter Gears of War.
The edition received the subtitle Reloaded, and three studios were involved in its development: The Coalition, Sumo Interactive and Disbelief. The shooter will receive 4K support, will run at 60FPS in the campaign and 120FPS in multiplayer. There will also be support for VRR, HDR, Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 sound, improved shadows and reflections. There will be no loading screens in the story campaign.
The release of the new product is expected on August 26 on PC and consoles with support for crossplay and cross-progression.
