Starbreeze has bought the rights to the Payday 3 shooter from Playion. Thanks to this, the developers will now be completely independent in terms of making decisions about the further development of the project.
As noted by the team, from now on new content for the game will be released faster. At the same time, Starbreeze is grateful to its former partners for their support and their belief that Payday 3 can still attract the attention of the audience.
For comparison, Payday 3's online is 20 times lower than the number of active users of the sequel. If nothing is done, the third one will face an unenviable fate.
