Remedy is working on Control 2, Condor and 4 other games

In the gaming industry, companies and publishers continue to sum up the results of the first financial quarter, and video game developer Remedy Entertainment is in a hurry to share its results. The company spoke about the games being developed, as well as the conclusion of partnership agreements with Epic Games and 505 Games.

First, about Remedy Entertainment's earnings:

  • +3.2% to profit compared to the first financial quarter of 2020 - the company managed to earn about € 9.4 million
  • similar (3.3%) increase in profit for the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2020 (total profit of €17.5 million)
  • increase in operating profit by 10.5%

What Remedy, the creator of Alan Wake, is working on:

  • The continuation of Control - perhaps it will be Control 2 or a game with another additional name, but one thing is known - several times more budget was allocated for the creation of the second part. The release is far away - the concept is being developed now.
  • Development continues on the co-op game Condor, a spin-off of Control, which is now being created in collaboration with 505 Games. By the way, Condor is just a code name. So the “output” title will be different.
  • Cooperation with Epic Games allowed us to launch a new AAA project into production.
  • Remedy is also making an unannounced game on a smaller scale.
  • Free-to-play testing of the Vanguard game continues. Everything is going well.
  • A small team continues to refine CrossfireX. The release is just around the corner. There will also be a story part called Crossfire HD. All this should happen before the end of 2021.

Remedy Entertainment currently has about 293 employees.
