The first extended gameplay video for Life is Strange: Remastered Collection has been released, telling the story of Max as she tries to harness her new powers to control time.
At almost 6 minutes long, the trailer is a stream of continuous footage from Max walking through the hallways of her high school to traveling back in time.
Compared to the original in 2015, there are minor changes in the environment, but the main thing that stands out in the remaster is the physics of faces. Now they are most expressive, emotions are clearly visible, and conversations seem even more alive and real. The developers are also teasing "updated and improved puzzle mechanics," so there's a chance for some minor gameplay tweaks.
Life is Strange: Remastered Collection will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia on February 1 this year. A Switch version should appear towards the end of the year.
The success of the title is quite expected.
