Epic Games shared their progress and store statistics compared to 2020:

  • The store has 194 million users: 34 million more than in 2020.
  • The daily peak of active users reached 31.1 million, and the peak of concurrent users reached 13.2 million.
  • Monthly active users in December were 62 million, up 11% from 56 million in 2020.
  • Sales also increased. The store made $840 million last year, up 20% from 2020, according to Epic.
  • There are currently 917 products on sale on the Epic Games Store, double what was available in 2020.
  • Player spending was over $300 million, up 12% from 2020.
  • In the free games category, 89 titles were offered to players during the year. Their gamers took a total of 756 million times.

Epic Games says that the company has big plans for the store in 2022, and the team is preparing to bring many interesting and useful features to its users.
