Venture to the Vile Walkthrough

Go to the right side and take the new deer mask from the table (Q key). Go to the right and go to Stanley Road.


Stanley Road

Move to the left, talk to the characters, use jumps and find Ella. Follow Ella to the left, jump on the rocks, then walk across the bridge to the back of the screen (W key). Follow to the right, after which Ella will leave. Attack the bully with the J key.

After a short pause, the main character will mature. Run to the right, examine the two traps on the left and the two traps in the background. Return to Ella, follow the girl to the last trap. Run to the back of the screen and try to pass through the bridge.

Run to the right through the cave. Don't worry, the monster won't catch up with you. Press the H key to heal yourself with tonic. At the moment, the tonic's maximum supply is 2 units and its health is 4 HP. Hit the dummy, walk to the left and read the diary. It has been 36 days since the outbreak.


Outpatient

Talk to Dr. Raven to find out for the assignment. Go to the main street of Rainbrook. Walk to the right side and turn deep into the public garden. Go straight through the gate on the right and interact with the tent. This is the save point. To take the optional “Mishka, Come Home” quest, go to the left and once again go deep into the screen. Interact with the girl Nora. There is a woman sitting next to her. Talk to her. She's lost her children. This will start the “End of School” mission. Go to the front and go down the steps to the wharf to meet Trout and take the additional task “Fishing Luck”.

Make your way to the main street, to the right and to the foreground. This will take you to the main street of Rainbrook. Go left, past the butcher, and interact with the next door. You will be asked for a password. This will start the additional quest “Nag Keeping Society”. Go right, to the Lanes, and save at the tent. go right and talk to the constable to get the additional quest “Constable's Complaint”.


Go to the right and immediately to the bottom of the screen. Kill the enemy on the right and pick up a horseshoe for the quest “Fishing Luck”. But you need to find several horseshoes to complete it, so it's pointless to go back. Continue to the right along the main street. Turn towards the infirmary of Mercy Anne. The path to the cemetery on the left is impossible, so go to the right. Enter house 31. Walk to the right, jump up and go to the right. Go down to the first floor and find the fireplace on the left, where someone is stuck in the chimney. This will start the additional task “Broom and Soot”.

Exit the house through another door and go to the right. Do not go deep into the screen to the infirmary, but go to the building on the right. This is house #35. Go inside, climb up and go to the balcony on the left. Jump on the wooden platforms to the right and enter the same building. Go downstairs and you will find a collar, which is needed for the additional task “Constable's Complaint”. Return the collar to the constable to get the key to house 2b in Oak Towers. The quest will be updated.

Mercy Anne's Infirmary


Walk towards the gazebo at the back of the screen, to the left of the collar house, and go left. Save at the tent, jump over the obstacles and enter the infirmary. Go to the right, deep into the screen. Examine the locked door on the right. You'll need the key to the ward. There is a control panel on the left, but you need energy. Follow the main corridor to the right and jump up on the ledges. Follow to the left, deep into the screen and to the right. You will drop through a hole into a room with a key to the wards. You can also read the orderly's notes.

Apply the key and exit into the main corridor. Go to the right and deep into the screen. Go down to the bottom. You can turn the first red valve, then run around the basement and turn three more. Avoid the steam jets. Resources will fall out of the stove.

Climb back up and open the door on the right, to the wards. Go to the right and save yourself by the tent and take out the battery pack. Enemies will appear on the way back. By the way, you don't have to parry their blows. You can run away or jump over. Go back to the beginning and install the battery to start the elevator. Ride to the top.


Go right, to the room at the back of the screen and read the surgeon's notes. Go to the right, save at the tent, then go further and fight the boss.

Boss Rabbit


When the enemy jumps high and a circle appears on the ground, keep running to one side to avoid taking damage. If the Hare jumps low, use the L key to bounce away from him. At other moments, keep attacking him. Eventually you will unlock the double jump.

Go to the right, use the double jump, jump down and pick up the medicine crate that you need for the main mission. Go down below and save yourself at the tent. leave the infirmary. There is a second horseshoe in the basement where the cauldron is, but you won't be able to jump to it now (even with a double jump).

As evening falls, you'll soon realize that the monsters are stronger in the dark. Go back to the right, to the tent, and talk to the strange man to start the optional quest “And Dukes in the Mud”. Return to the main street of the alley and go to the right side, towards the Oak Towers. Enter house #15, go to the top and talk to Agnes to get the additional quest “Nest House”.

Go back downstairs, walk to the right and jump up on the platforms on the building. At the very top floor, enter house 26 to get a mysterious box for the constable on the Constable's Complaint mission. Return to it to get a small claw and rotten feathers. The quest will be completed. Walk back to Dr. Crow to complete his first story quest. Once you fall into the pit, unlock skills and jump up by pushing off the walls. Eventually, you will return to Dr. Crow. Place a sample of Purest Evil in the car to get +1 to your maximum health. You are asked to head to the police station.

Police Station

Go to the public garden and find the entrance to the police station open. Lt. Biggle will tell you about the main locations you should visit - Salt Harbor, Weeping Willow Cemetery Mausoleum, Blackhill Mines.

Gloomy Days

The quest requires you to investigate flashpoints in Blackhill Mines, Salt Sea Harbor, and Weeping Willow Mausoleum. You have also received a map. You can open it to see that there are a lot more horseshoes in the game. Also, the map will show locations with flares. Go to the main street and enter the butcher's shop. On the cutting board, you can turn different parts of monsters and Evil into essence (essence). Go deep inside the shop, jump up and hit the horseshoe. On the right enter the clothing store, you can unlock a new costume. There is also a horseshoe hanging from the ceiling. In the middle street on the right, look for the Toad and Crown Tavern. Talk to the bartender to get the extra quest “The whole group apart”. Walk to the right and hit the horseshoe in the jump. Go above and find Sleepy Jimmy to advance the “Whole Group Apart” quest. Talk to the bartender again. He'll tell you that Stu went down to Salt Sea Harbor, Mert went to the cemetery.

Walk down to the river where there is a Trout that needs horseshoes. Hand in the horseshoes you found and go to the right. There are smugglers standing at the top. Eavesdrop on their conversation to get the password for the “Nag Keeping Society” quest. Go back and say the password at the building to the left of the butcher's shop. Look at the three posters on the left to start three more quests in the “Event” chain. There's also a horseshoe there. Talk to the woman on the right to complete the Nag Keeping Society quest. Visit the clothing store and bar, talk to the owners, pick up the crate of bottles and the disguise. Hand it over to the female boss. Visit the butcher shop, talk to the butcher, go to the right and deep into the screen, smash all the hams in the freezer and return to the butcher for the tools. Hand them to the Warden. All three quests will complete and the Warden will ask you to come back to her later.

On the main street, go left and enter Rachel's Pharmacy. Go to the far room, push off the wall on the right and jump on the upper platforms to find the Evil Berries. At the bottom, read the apothecary's diary. You need 2 Evil berries and 500 essence to increase your maximum supply of tonic.

Stanley Road

The path to the left is now cleared, so go to this location. Enter your house, find a ceramic flower upstairs and a note from Ella #1 on the first floor. Go left past the boarded up house and hit the horseshoe in the jump.

Winding Creek Gardens

Walk to the left and go to a new location. Go left and save at the tent.
