Rescue the Survivor — How to Complete

Rescue the Survivor is a research order in Zenless Zone Zero, which you can receive during the first story chapter (Cat's Lost). Or closer to its end, in the interlude section.

A research order is a test related to solving some puzzles in the HDD. You need to move blocks, look for survivors, collect coins, and so on. Each research task is unique in its own way.

• Location: Abandoned Subway
• Objective: Help the Pegasus courier plan his route
• Reward: 500 Internot Credits, 30 Polychromes, 1 Elite Explorer Supply Box, 2 Senior Explorer Supply Boxes, 4 Specialist Journals, 10,000 Denny.

Head to HDD. You will receive construction equipment and be able to build a transport route. Just move right and down all the way. Then go up and to the right to the exit point. There should be a direct path from the starting point to the finishing point. Move right to go to a new location.

Now you can save the survivor. Lay out the transport route like this:

1. All the way up
2. All the way to the left
3. All the way up
4. All the way to the right
5. Down
6. Right

Pay 500 sixlings and open the shutter on the right to get the first packet of surveillance data. Climb up to the transition point at the top.

Next path:

1. Left
2. Down
3. Down
4. Left
5. Up all the way
6. Right 4 times
7. Down
8. Right
9. Double Down
10. Left twice
11. Up to the exit

Then gather supplies, open the gate and take the second surveillance data package. Leave the location.

On the third level, do this:

1. Left
2. All the way down
3. Left
4. All the way up
5. All the way to the right
6. Double Down
7. Three times to the left
8. Down twice
9. Right
10. Down
11. Right twice
12. Two times up
13. Left to exit

Gather supplies, open the gate and take the third surveillance data package. Win the final battle. There will be an elite opponent at the end, but there is no time limit.
