Walkthrough of the Golden City of Banbu in Zenless Zone Zero

This task can be completed immediately after the quest "Golden City of Banbu: First Inspection". At the very beginning, you will have a battle against bandits. After winning, go up the stairs and talk to the Good Bear. For him, you need to collect 500,000 shesterlings. Don't worry, it's not as difficult as it seems at first glance.

Just move to the right. Additional passages will appear at the top. Right now, focus on collecting all the shesterlings without opening the shutters. In some positions, there is an Activated Crystal. When you interact with it, you can double your current supply of shesterlings. As you understand, you should use such crystals last, having collected the maximum possible number of shesterlings in the location.

Double the coins when you go through all the locations not connected to the shutter, open the upper shutter and pick up the data packet. Going down, you can reach the Elite Explorer's Box. There will be another Activated Crystal there that doubles coins. Leave the first level of the cavern.

Second floor

Get to the ZZZ cage. You can return to the previous location through the portal in the lower right corner. In the lower left corner, there is a vending machine called "Shearlings for Shearlings". By giving a certain amount of Shearlings, you will receive 20% more. This amount will gradually increase. You can return to the machine at any time to continue increasing Shearlings. In the middle of the location, there is a Shearling icon called "Work for money". Winning the battle will earn you 1000 Shearlings.

First, go down and open the blue shutter. You will find yourself in an arena with many Shearlings and two Golden Banbus. Catch the Golden Banbus as quickly as possible. Otherwise, they will move and leave shutters behind. With the help of Banbu, you can double your current supply of shesterlings or increase the shesterlings you receive for work by 100%, etc.

Return to the center and move to the left. Inspect all the unknown cells. On one of them there will be a researcher who will remove the infection for all the coins. You can do without it (unless the infection limits your earnings). Press the 3 red buttons. One of them will create another cell for work, two - a bridge leading to the left part of the cavern. There you will meet a researcher who sells a lucky cat. Buy such cats whenever you can to earn more shesterlings. There are Activated Crystals below and above.

If at some point you are short of coins, just do the work in the center (defeat enemies several times).

Bonus Area

Return to the center and head up. Open the shutter and press the red button. The third job will appear. Head up and to the right and enter a new area. Head to the top left corner, help Cole and collect the second surveillance data packet. Collect coins and open the shutters. You don't need to open all of them, as you'll go around some of them the other way. The SOS cage will trigger a battle. Win the battle and you'll save Dax. Also, be sure to buy the Lucky Cat on the explorer's cage. There's a blue cage in the bottom right corner. Save Kosaka. Leave the area through the portal in the top right corner.

Second Floor, Return

You'll immediately activate the red button and create a shortcut back to the main area. Double your shearlings with the Activated Crystal first, then head down to the center and turn right to open the shutter for 20,000 shearlings. Move to the right, out of three gates choose the upper one, since you don't have to pay for it. Then out of two gates choose the lower one, which also opens for free. Next there will be a gate with a lottery. I recommend collecting 100,000 sherlings and opening it with a 100% chance to get the third surveillance data package. Go to the right and kill the enemies. Collect three boxes with supplies of the experienced researcher and return to the central area.

Go up again. At the top, you will find several Banbu "Gold Rush" plugins. After collecting all the plugins, go down to the central area and even lower, where the golden Banbu were. Stand so that all the empty cells are around you. Activate one "Gold Rush" plugin and collect the coins. Repeat the steps with all the plugins! For each cell that appears, you will receive 2500 sherlings. Moreover, the last plugin you found behind the gate will create sherlings ON ALL CELLS. In general, you will easily collect the required amount, you will be able to open the shutter for 100,000 shesterlings and take the third packet of surveillance data.
