Legendary Banbu Trainer Walkthrough in Zenless Zone Zero

An unusual combat order related to completing several arena levels. You need to properly set up a team of banbu, pump up their stats, and so on in order to defeat several fighters.

To begin completing the "Research: Who's Training Who" order in the ZZZ game, you first need to complete the mission of Insert Chapter 2. After that, the Intershow of Chapter 2 will open. In the video rental store, you will find a young man named Reizen standing at the counter with his banbu. Interact with them. Then head to the 141 supermarket, where you will meet the same couple again near the merchants. After completing the dialogue, immediately head to the noodle shop. Near the bar counter, you will see Reizen and his impudent banbu again. Talk to them to receive the "Legendary Banbu Trainer" order from the "Research" category.

First, register for the arena competition. Talk to the banbu at the entrance, then find the referee to find out the conditions for participation. The referee on the right side of the ring will say that you need to assemble your own team to participate. After the conversation, the recruitment zone will open, which is located southeast of the referee. In this location, you can add new banbu to the team. At first, only one fighter is available - Sharkbu. He has no skills, but he is provided for free. Hire a combat banbu and leave the zone.

Interact with the referee, optionally study the information about the enemy - you will learn the name, HP reserve, attack power, the presence of skills. You do not need to set up anything, the first battle will be easy. After winning, walk along the lower cells to collect shesterlings and chat with the audience. Repeat the actions after each battle!

If you are defeated, nothing terrible will happen, the battle can be repeated. And even after defeat, shesterlings appear in the hall, that is, you can pump up your banbu even better.

After winning the first battle, you will receive the "Super Sword". It is best to give it to Shark by standing on the square with him and handing over the item. Use the money you receive to buy Bumaba, the second most powerful Banba in the squad.

The third opponent is Ellie. After the battle, regardless of the outcome, the first equipment store will open.

Talk to the spectator, who will tell you about a mysterious shop where there are two pieces of equipment:

  • Starfall Armor - gives +1 HP to Banba, costs 1,000 sherlings.
  • Sword of the Northern Lights - gives +1 to Banba's attack power, costs 1,000 sherlings.

Also find Beelzebu in the spectator hall, who will tell you that he is the champion of this tournament and is looking forward to the fight. As a gift, he will give you a Super Strong Dental Implant, which is recommended to give to Shark.

Learn information about the next opponent - Bombist. Before the battle, buy Sumobu and buy a few health items for Bumaboo. Place Sumobu on the right so that he destroys Bombist's assistant. Having dealt with his assistants, you will quickly defeat the opponent himself.

It is also recommended to buy the maximum number of "Starfall Armor" for Bumaboo in the future, which will allow you to get an achievement and increase the attack power of Banbu, since this stat directly depends on his HP.

Talk to the fans in the hall and find Wanderabu, who will demand 1,000 sixterlings. From Beelzebu, get "Mask No. 10", which must be equipped on Sharkuboo by standing on the cell with his image.

On the fifth wave, you will encounter Banbu Lucky with the skill of increasing his own health at the expense of assistants. There is no strategy here: place Sharkuboo on the left, and place Bumaboo in the center. Banbu will most likely attack Lucky himself.

After the fifth battle, the code shop will open:

  • VIP Catapult - after the death of one Banbu, the other two get +10 to HP. Costs 4,000 Sherlings.
  • Bug Shield - Banbu gets immunity to the first hit. Costs 4,000 Sherlings.
  • Turban of the Titan of Solitude - if the owner is alone, his HP and damage increases by 5 times. Costs 6,000 Sherlings.

In the sixth battle, you will encounter a regular enemy, Midas Touch, for defeating which you will receive additional money.

Wanderer, if you gave him money earlier, will give the "Likes Cannon", which allows Banbu to attack twice per action. Equip it on Sharkbu so that he deals a huge amount of damage per turn.

The seventh enemy is the Packet Man. You can put Sumobu in the center to guarantee the Packet Man's death in 1-2 turns, but this boss is not dangerous. Buy Sumoobu VIP Catapult for the next battles.

The Security Guard will be encountered on the eighth wave. The team will easily deal with the enemy, even if he kills 1-2 Banbu. After the battle, buy the Bug Shield for Sharkbu.

The final enemy is the Hypnotist King. Place Sumoobu on the left, Sharkbu in the center, and Bumaboo on the right. The first battle will most likely be lost due to the large amount of HP of the enemy. After the first defeat, the enemy's total HP will decrease. Buy the Turban of the Titan of Solitude for Bumaboo, who will be the last one left and will be able to kill the enemy on his own.

Leave the Banbu League after completing nine battles and leave it with the title of champion. Collect 3 purple and 2 gold chests on the way to the exit, and also open 3 surveillance data packs. Before completing the order, you can chat with the Banbu from the team.

Achievement Solo Hero

To get the Solo Hero achievement in ZZZ from the "Exploration: Cavern Guide" category, in the "Legendary Banbu Trainer" order, trigger the effect of the Titan's Turban of Solitude once. To do this, it is enough to place weak Banbu on the left, fighting the champion in the last battle. Opening the achievement will bring 5 Polychromes.

Achievement Banbu-Giant

To get the achievement Banbu-Giant in ZZZ from the section of the "Exploration: Cavern Guide" category, in the "Legendary Banbu Trainer" order, one Banbu must have at least 20 HP left.
