Drifting Cavity: Near-Surface Walkthrough

This job will help you get familiar with the mechanics of the level and teach you how to use the rotating mechanisms to change the direction of the rails. The following route will allow you to collect all the chests and resources.

Get to the 2nd floor of the Cavity

First floor:

Grace will rotate the first mechanism, demonstrating how it works.

Go to the purple chest, then use the lever in the lower left corner to pave the way to the rift leading to the second floor.

Get to the 3rd floor of the Cavity

Second floor:

First, go to the mechanism directly above you to change the direction of the rails.

Go to the lower left corner and collect the purple chest.

Then move up to the next rotating mechanism, collect the denny in the upper left corner and go to the rift leading to the third floor.

Defeat the Aetherials on the 3rd floor of the cavern

Third floor:

Move clockwise, then turn down after the gold chest to collect all the resources.

To complete the bounty, defeat the Aetherials on the finish square.

Hard Bounty Drifting Cavity: Near-Surface

The hard bounty will be unlocked after completing the normal one. To get the maximum rank and rewards, you need to collect 5 AIC data samples.

HIA Data Sample #1

First floor:

Use the mechanism on your right and move down to collect the first AIC data sample.

Then go to the lever in the center to return the rails to their original position and unlock the path to the rift.

HIA Data Samples #2-3

Second floor:

Take a step to the left and down to collect the second AIC data sample.

Then go right and down to the turning mechanism in the lower right corner.

Take one step left, two steps up, one step left, and one step up to the center square.

Move left and down to collect the third AIC data sample.

Move down and left again, use the turning mechanism to return the rails to their original position, and make your way to the crack on the third tier.

HIA Data Samples #4-5

Tier Three:

Go to the lever in the lower left corner, then to the lever in the lower right corner.

Move one step up to collect the fourth AIC data sample.

Move left and up to the turning mechanism on the center square.

From there, go up, left, up again, and right to collect the fifth AIC data sample.

Defeat the Aetherials on the finish square to complete the order.
