• Successfully complete QTEs! In the fourth chapter, a QTE scene will unfold (you need to quickly press a series of keys or buttons), which will decide whether Jess will survive. However, the real tests begin when Emily and Matt get to the tower. Your task is to survive the night, continuing to successfully complete QTE sequences, make the right decisions and choose options that will keep the relationship between the characters at a good level.
• In general, the game has a general rule - as long as the characters have a good relationship, they are ready to help each other!
• Do not try to kill animals! Do not attack any animals, do not even throw anything at them - the only threat worth paying attention to is the Wendigo. Having hurt the animals, you will receive an "appropriate reward" - one of the characters will definitely die. So, resist the urge to shoot a squirrel or throw a snowball at a bird. Although this in itself is not normal.
• I highly recommend lowering the motion sensor sensitivity to 40%. The controller is so sensitive that it can even react to vibrations in tests where you can’t move. If your hands are shaking, the gamepad may interpret this as movement, and you will fail the test! If this happens, you can fail the Don’t Move mini-game segments. Even if you put the controller on your leg or a coffee table, the sensor can still detect vibrations (what if there is a small earthquake at that moment?). Lowering the sensitivity will help avoid such mistakes.

I recommend making sure you successfully complete all the QTE scenes when trying to get to Jess via a shortcut!

The next time Jess can die is in Chapter 10, where she meets Matt. When playing as Matt, do not leave Jess. Instead, hide together twice and successfully complete the "Don't Move" minigame to save both characters.

Chris's fate is affected by his relationship with Ashley. Whenever Ashley can die in the games devised by the maniac, you must save her. After this, all that remains is to escape from the Wendigo after the death of the man with the flamethrower. If Chris and Ashley do not get closer, she will not let Chris into the house, and he will die.

Finally, in the ninth chapter, playing as Ashley, calm Chris down by choosing the appropriate option. As a result, he will not distance himself from the group and will not get into trouble.

Ashley can die only in one moment - if she decides to follow the sound in the ninth chapter. This happens after you close the hatch and separate from the group.
