The first chapter of ELEX 2 consists of several story missions.
After the introductory video, you will control Jax, the hero of the first part. Follow the path, the only way. Search locations to collect loot - potions, food, lockpicks and herbs. Whatever you collect now will be left for later. Defeat the first monsters using the starting weapon. Soon you will reach a place where traces of destruction are visible (purple glow). Go left, along the path, search the skeleton to get potions and purified elex. After a while, the video will start.
The game will take you to Adam's house and give you new tasks - "In Danger", "Infected" and "Sixth Force" . When you get to any city, the task will end. There are 5 cities to choose from - Fort, Grotto, Crater, Depot and Castle. All these places are marked on the map. We recommend visiting the Fort or Grotto, as they are closest to the starting location. No matter which city you choose, the quest will be completed.
The first goal of the mission is to find Dex. The map shows its exact location, so just follow it there. Once there, you will see a dilapidated hut. Dex is staying here with a Berserker who guards him. Talk to them to get a new objective - lead Dex to Bastion. Next to destroyed??th house has a fast travel point.
Now you need to get to the Bastion, which is located nearby. The exact location is marked on the map. The best way to get to the place is to follow the path marked on the map. On the way to the goal, you will find abandoned buildings. Search them as there are a lot of items inside and no enemies. Collect potions, food, and items that can later be sold. As you approach Bastion, you will automatically speak to Dex. The task will end.
The first objective is to talk to Kaha, who is at the berserk outpost near where you started the game. From her you will learn that at present the woman cannot help. Go to Adam, who is in the Bastion. To get help from him, you will have to cope with the attack of mysterious forces. This is done in the "Sixth Force" quest, which is described below.
In the task "Infected" there are really no goals. First you need to complete the long task "The Sixth Force", described below. Having done this, approach Adam and talk about the infection. The quest will end.
During the task "Strong Alliances" you have to get rid of the monsters near the Bastion, as well as find people for the Sixth Force units and the builder. In the "Strong Alliances" quest, you must talk to representatives of all Elex 2 factions. You will have to talk to:
In addition, you will have to join one of the factions. At this stage of the game, you can join Morcons, Berserkers or Albs. You can join the Morcons after the task "The Values of the Morcons", the berserkers - "Berserker's Trust", the Album - "Agent of the Albs".
After completing the "Preparing the Bastion" quest, you will need to kill 5 agitators around the bastion. This is the "Enemy Scouts" quest. At the end of the mission, you will meet your old friend - the KRONY U-4 drone. You will find him in the quest "Reliable Allies / Companions". After completing all the listed missions, return to Adam and tell about the successes. You will see a cut-scene and the game will take you to the second act (chapter).
Finding Kahu is very easy. She is located at the nearest berserk outpost. After talking with Tjalg, follow up the road or to the target marker. Talk to Kakha and the quest will end.
We recommend talking with Kakha on all possible topics in order to complete the "Incognito" task. You will also receive a quest called "Only a Dead Morcon", after which Kakha will become your ally.
Finding the mission objectives is very easy, as the exact location of the Morcons is shown on the map. The right place is not far from Kakha, so what will you spend the minim??m time. But defeating the Morcons is more difficult. You can talk to them first, but regardless of your choice, the Morcons will attack the character. Thus, it is best to attack them from a distance. For example, from nearby rocks.
Attacked Morcons will try to hide behind cover, but after a while they will return to their positions. If you have enough ammo, you can kill all five Morcons with this method. If there is no ammo, at least you will weaken them, gaining a significant advantage in close combat. Dodge as often as possible as the enemies deal a lot of damage.
After defeating the Morcons, you will complete the task. But despite this, be sure to return to Kakha so that she gives even more tasks, and also becomes your companion.
The goal of the mission is to defeat five annoying monsters. The location of each enemy is shown on the map. Some of them are right in the bastion, while others are a little further. It is not difficult to defeat them, especially since they go one at a time. All you need is the basic equipment collected along the way to the Bastion. Kill all enemies to complete the mission.
Dex does not interfere with the exploration of the world. Occasionally, he asks questions, but he does not approach the sources of threat. By adding him to the team, you will be able to travel with other companions. In total, you can travel in a group of three people. Dex don't go too faro from Bastion. In which case he will be left behind, and his location will be marked on the map. To continue the quest, you just have to return to this place. It's not entirely clear where the mission ends. Just explore the Bastion and the area around it, and after a while, Dex will automatically speak to Drax, which will complete the task. Dex will return to Bastion.
The Defector is located at the highest level of the Grotto. Zarina and Dixon can also be found here. Talk to her to receive the quest. The defector will agree to help in the fight against the mysterious forces if Jax in turn helps her when meeting with the main factions. After the first conversation, the Defector will go to the Bastion. Talk to her to complete her task. This will open up new missions in which you need to bring her to the leaders of different factions.
