In order to find bosses in V Rising, you must build and use the Altar of Blood. You can build a Blood Altar using 180 Stones and 10 Blood Essence, but first you need to complete the Prepare to Hunt quest. To complete this quest, you must:

To track a boss, simply select it on the Altar of Blood, then exit the menu and start walking. After a few moments, you will see a red beam stretching from your character in a certain direction. It will keep disappearing and reappearing every few seconds, but you can keep following the direction of this bloody trail as you travel to find the boss.
It is important to note that although the Altar of Blood only shows the bosses you are able to fight, almost every V Rising boss has always existed in the world. This means that if you venture into the danger zone, you might stumble upon a powerful boss that you won't be able to defeat with your current gear. You can still try to fight, but we recommend running away until you upgrade your gear.
