Wednesday

Director Tim Burton has finally been able to show his incarnation of the Addams Family by focusing on Wednesday's story, which isn't too far from the original cartoons in spirit. I don't want to offend anyone, but, as for me, Jenna Ortega has somewhat surpassed Christina Ricci's best Wednesday. The popularity can be judged, at least, by the very viral dance to Lady Gaga's track "Bloody Mary".

In 2022, the fourth, penultimate season of Stranger Things was released. The premiere of the new season took place in May, when 7 episodes were released, and already in early July, two more longer episodes were added, the duration of which exceeded 3.5 hours. And it's nice to know that the Duffer brothers still have ideas for at least one more season.

The TV show Peacekeeper, starring John Cena, continues the Suicide Squad story, ending with Peacekeeper joining the secret task force A.R.G.U.S. in exchange for his freedom and a second chance at life. Will he be able to take a second chance and become a different person? Of course not! And that's where the whole point of this series lies. On paper, the Peacemaker is not a character we should be worried about, but thanks to the script by James Gunn and the performance of Jonah Cena, it's hard not to sympathize with this guy.

Sandman

Netflix last year released a 10-episode first season, adapting the first two volumes of the comics, followed by a surprise bonus episode tie-in with Dream of a Thousand Cats and Calliope. The first thing that catches your eye is a very powerful casting with great actors. Each one is perfect for their role. What's even better? TV show has been renewed for a second season!

Dragon House

As it turns out, reports of the collapse of the Game of Thrones fandom are exaggerated. The same can be said for the general resistance to the very idea of a prequel series set hundreds of years before the events of the original show. George R.R. Martin brought in Ryan Kondal, his friend and true fan of his books, to create a reasonably sensible adaptation of The House of the Dragon that even improved on the original Fire and Blood literary work in some ways.

Boys

The third season of The Boys was even more bloody, lewd and incredible than the previous one. And all this thanks to the appearance of Jensen Ackles in the role of Soldier. In general, the story turned out to be even more intricate and intriguing.

Andor

Telling the story of the rebel Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) before the events of Rogue One, this Star Wars TV show is a hit in 2022. "Andor" starts slowly, and devotes all its time to systematic preparation for an incredible finale. Believe me, the series is worth the time and patience. The show proves that you don't have to be the perfect hero to fight injustice...
