Crossout has a racing mode (and other details of the latest update)

Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announced the release of update 0.11.60 “Madness Track” for the post-apocalyptic network action game Crossout

Players are waiting for a redesigned racing mode, a new unique armored car and improved controls on consoles.

The update takes the racing mode Crossout to the next level, where the warriors of the wasteland forget about guns and missiles for a while, and solve problems differently. The game features two unique maps designed specifically for racers. The “Rocky Track” is laid in a canyon and is designed for fast cars that can develop maximum speed and outrun opponents over long straight distances. On the “Industrial track”, the maneuverability of the car and the player’s ability to control speed and fit into turns are more important. Other Crossout racing tracks are in development and will be featured in upcoming updates.

Although you can participate in the races on any car, you can additionally purchase the Adrenaline Pack, which includes the unique Moby 935 armored car with the epic PU13 Equalizer minigun, rare racing parts and cosmetic items.

Other changes to Tracks of Madness include destructible objects in garages, a choice of weather conditions in a test drive, and new controls for the car assembly mode on consoles, better adapted to the gamepad.
