Apparently, bright times are coming for the developers of VR equipment. Following the recent high-profile release of Half-Life: Alyx, information appeared about the creation of a VR game based on the Star Wars universe. And, I'm sure, for many, this will be a serious reason to join the not so numerous fandom of VR owners.
The game is being developed by ILMxLAB, a studio owned by Lucasfilm and responsible for other VR titles like Vader Immortal. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge is an action-adventure game scheduled for release this year. The action takes place between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. Players will embark on an incredible journey where they will encounter "both new and iconic characters from the Staw Wars galaxy", "multiple gameplay styles and difficulty settings suitable for a wide audience".
Disney seems to be interested in integrating between Galaxy's Edge theme parks and Star Wars games. The events take place on the outskirts of the Black Spire outpost located in Galaxy's Edge on the planet Batuu. This place is described as an old trading post on the edge of the Outer Rim. Once it was a busy crossroads along the old trade routes. It's also a paradise for rogues and smugglers trying to escape the First Order. Something like Tatooine, but with less pe??ka.
