You will meet Laezel for the first time on the ship of the illithids, even in the prologue of the game, but then the paths of the protagonist and this githyanki warrior will diverge.

Next time, you need to look for Laezelle near the abandoned ruins of the Ravaged Shore, into which Shaedowhart fights. From the Roadside Cliffs Travel Altar, go right and then go around the ruins on the left. After finding the cage with Laezelle, start a conversation with the tieflings. It's best to save first.

Even if you remain silent, Laezel will jump out of the cage, and you will either have to kill her or stand up for her and finish off two tieflings. There are also options with a skill test. Persuasion will allow you to secure her release, and then you will have to make the decision as described above.

The best option is cheating. In this case, the tieflings will run away, and there will be no need to shed blood. And then you can take Laezel to your allies.
