Among other objects, you can find altars in the dungeon and beyond.
- Eldritch Altar. Subject: holy water. You can get a lot of stress, a positive or negative quirk. When using holy water, you will lose one random negative quirk.
- Shambler's Altar. Item: torch. This antique does nothing. If you do not use a torch on him, the Shambler boss will appear. If you have a low level of heroes, then do not try to fight the boss, as his health and resistance to stun will surely negate all your efforts and the squad will die.
- Altar of Bones. One of the few Darkest Dungeon objects that always gives a good result. Increases damage and accuracy for a short time. There is a chance to eliminate negative effects such as rotting and bleeding.
- Altar of Light. It can be found in the ruins. Subject: holy water. Rare positive antiques. Adds a little damage to your attacks, or can greatly increase damage if you use holy water on it.
