In all STALKER series, the player could find artifacts - special items that have separate bonuses for your character. If in the first and second parts the artifacts were literally scattered around the game world, then in STALKER: Call of Pripyat such items can only be found in separate places and with a special device - a detector. You have a prototype of such a device from the very beginning of the game, in the future you can find several more improved detectors.

Detectors

As we have already noted, detectors serve to find artifacts in anomalies. Some of them signal only with a sound and light signal, and advanced detectors show the direction of the artifact in the anomalies.

Response

Standard detector signaling artifacts with sound and light signals. Che?? the closer the artifact is from the character, the more often the detector signals.

Where to find:

• Available from the start of the game

Bear

Improved detector prototype, but rather outdated. It has the function of not only an audible alarm when an anomaly is detected, but also indicates the alleged location through light indication.

Where to find:

• Can be found on any killed bandit or stalker

Veles

Model of a new generation of detectors. Displays on the screen the places where artifacts appear with almost a minimum error.

Where to find:

• In a cache in Kopachi;
• If you kill Noah;

Svarog

This detector allows you to detect something wrong?Only artifacts, but also indicates the location of anomalies in the location.

Artifact spawn locations

Almost all artifact spawn locations can be found on the map. They are marked with white circles. If there is at least one anomaly in a certain location, then you can definitely find an artifact here. Artifacts usually spawn several units per day. To find a large number of artifacts, return to the anomalies no more than once a day.

You can take this quest daily from the Beard merchant in Skadovsk. For each individual artifact, he will pay a good amount. If you really want to make money on this business, then you must first activate the quest, and only then bring the desired artifact to the merchant. In this case, its price will double.

Semi-artifact "Changed Steering Wheel"

This artifact can be obtained from an old barge inlocations Dredger, which is not far from Skadovsk. You need to climb the ladder in front of the bridge and jump over to the sheet of metal, thereby bypassing the anomaly below. Climbing up to the bridge, take the artifact. After you leave the barge, a group of stalkers will attack you (unless you give them the find).

Artifact "Compass"

The compass can be obtained from Noah in two ways:
