Where to find all War upgrades in Darksiders: Genesis

War can use various upgrades to the sword that allow it to deal elemental damage to opponents, drain their health points, and more. Below we explain how to get all the upgrades for the sword.

Important note . Describing the location of these items, we mean that you have found a map of a particular location (and this is easy to do). Their location is indicated in a separate manual. In turn, the found map will allow you to see where this or that collectible item is located (in epic chests - armor, new abilities, improvements and ammunition; green and yellow marker - fragments of health and Wrath spheres, respectively).

1. Earth crusher . You will receive this item automatically in the first chapter. In front of the gate with a seal prohibiting movement on a horse, kill the demon and open the epic chest that appears.
2. Thunder roll . Can be purchased from Vulgrim for 3500 souls and 10 Boatman's Coins immediately after completing the first chapter.
3. Fire brand . In the fourth chapter, move up the location, past a large statue with a sphere. Below is an epic chest. Approach him, kill the enemies that appear and take the upgrade for the sword.
4. Rune of the vampire . You can buy it from Vulgrim after completing the sixth chapter.
5. Touch of Death . In the epic chest in the seventh chapter, in the dungeon. To get to the chest, just walk around the walls against h??owl arrow. When you get the crushing gauntlet, you can break the red crystals at the beginning of the dungeon and end up on the left side. Open one door. The second door from the top leads to a labyrinth with several bars and switches. You go to the left. This path leads to a battle area with one of the boss' henchmen. When you go from him (from the assistant), look to the left for a small passage. He will lead to a hill with a chest.
6. Funnel . In chapter 11, go to the river and to the left under the waterfall. This is where the Trickster Gate will be. Go behind them, go upstairs and activate the button. While jumping on the platforms, you need to collect 6 Boatman Coins as soon as possible. But there is another large platform at the bottom right. You need to jump to it in a circle on five small platforms. On it is an epic chest with the latest War upgrade.
