Quenching Acid is a versatile item that can be used to upgrade all melee weapons. We'll tell you where to find it.
There are four melee weapons in total, and each can be upgraded up to 5 times to increase their damage. Each upgrade requires 1 Quenching Acid. You won't be able to find all 20 cans of acid in one playthrough, so you'll have to choose wisely which weapon you'd like to upgrade first.
In the meantime, here's where to find some vials of Quenching Acid:
- The first one is from the merchant at the top of Fallgrim's tower.
- Look for the second one in the same place, at the merchant. Both cost 2500 tar.
- In the abandoned halls, follow to the middle of the location and on the left look for the enemy sitting on the ground. Behind him will be a transparent chest with acid.
- After the abandoned halls, you will have to go down the spiral staircase. On the left there will be holes that lead to a parallel cave with skeletons and acid.
- Once in the Ash Idol, go left from the fork. The path to the right leads to a closed door. And on the left there are metal sarcophagi in the form of virgins. One of them will contain acid.
- Continue through the Ash Idol and examine the maiden sarcophagus next to the second closed door.
- INFallgrim Tower has Ferris. For 1 glow, it activates the fog. Do this, go outside and go right. Open the stone toads. One of them will contain acid.
- Once in the Eternal porch, get to a spacious location. After putting out the fire bowl, near which the censer is lying, turn around, go in the opposite direction and look for a chest on the right under the bridge.
- Follow the Misty Gate higher and higher. There are two portals at the top. Enter the right, follow a little forward and jump down the slabs. There you will find acid.
- Continue through the Misty Gate. Soon you will be moving across the plates, hovering over the bridges. One of the bridges goes down under a large building. There is acid in there.
