Assassin's Creed: Syndicate tips and tricks

Here are some tips and tricks to help you get through Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, released on October 23, 2015 by Ubisoft.

Tip #1

Loot from enemies . Many items that you can craft or upgrade require certain crafting materials. On the other hand, no one is going to give you upgrades and new things for free: money is needed everywhere. For these reasons, it is very important that you search all the enemies you encounter in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Whether you kill them or stun them, in any case, after these actions it will be possible to search.

Thus, the more loot you collect, the better it will be for you. So you can quickly purchase new equipment or upgrade your current arsenal.

Tip #2

Use rooftops . Moving around London is quite difficult due to the abundance of opponents who are in different gangs. They are scattered all over the street of the city. If you climb onto the roofs of buildings and move to the next checkpoint exclusively on top, you can go unnoticed by enemies.

In addition, there are many vantage points at the top that you can use to mark opponents. Again, do not forget about the first point: it is still better to neutralize some enemies in order to rob them later.

Tip #3

Use the carriage . While walking on the roof will keep you safe from enemies, it won't speed up your movement in London. In cases where the next marker is far away, you can use the caret. The Fry twins can grab just about any carriage they see on the city streets. But be careful, because some of the carriages belong either to the police or to members of the enemy gang.

On the other hand, by attacking them, you can once again use point number 1. Also, don't worry about the safety of driving a carriage: you can crash into anything you see without serious consequences. Imagine that you are playing GTA. You won't walk to another part of the city, will you?

Tip #4

Stun higher level enemies . There will definitely be situations where you have to confront opponents of a higher level. When this happens, try to use the stun. On the PlayStation 4, the X button is responsible for this function, and on the Xbox One, the A button. Stun them in advance, and then fight other villains to perform some successful combos.

Unlike enemies of a low level or the same level as you, high-level opponents will ignore your combo attacks with powerful blows at the moments when you least expect it.

Tip #5

Know Your Fry . Despite the fact that both Fry's twins are assassins, some missions can be completed by either character (with the exception of missions that require completion by a specific hero). There are a few playable differences between the two.

  • Eevee is considered to be a more traditional assassin that can be used for certain missions in those moments when it is necessary to operate in stealth mode.
  • Jacob is more of a brutal killer. He is able to withstand a group of opponents, since he has more strength than Evie.

If you want to avoid danger, then choose Evie. If you want to fight with each of the opponents, then play as Jacob.

Tip #6

Unlock various skills . For every 1000 XP in Assassin's Creed Syndicate, you gain one character skill point. However, until you use up a certain amount of experience points, the character level will not be increased. Usually it is enough to acquire 2-3 skills to move to a new level.

We are talking about the fact that sitting with 20,000 experience and having 20 skill points in stock is highly discouraged. There is little point in storing them in such volumes. On the other hand, they should also not be spent recklessly. With each new level you get new skills to choose from. That is why you should have a few extra points in reserve in order to choose the skills that are most in demand for a particular character.

By the way, skill points are earned for both twins at the same time: for 1000 experience points (and experience they have in common) you get, in fact, two skill points (one for Evie and one for Jacob). Any skills that you acquire for Evie will not be available to the same Jacob. But he will retain his points, and you can choose a slightly different skill. Considering what was described in point #5, this is a very useful feature.

Tip #7

Whistle as often as possible . Throughout the Assassin's Creed series, you could have been whistling for a long time. But, as it seems, it is in Syndicate that this feature is more relevant and useful than ever. There are many situations where a whistle will prove to be one of the most powerful tools for overcoming deadlocks. Of course, if you chose a stealth passage of the episode.

The game system rarely reminds you that you can use the whistle. Therefore, you must remember this function yourself and use it when you really need it. For example, with the help of a whistle, you can distract or even attract the attention of one enemy, or divide the enemy group into parts. Lure the bandit around the corner where you can easily deal with him without attracting the attention of his buddies.
