Polygon 8 in Atomic Heart

The entrance to polygon 8 is an elevator inside the science center, above the doors of which three red lights glow. To activate the elevator, you need to make all three lights turn green. There are three lights above the elevator, and they all need to light up before it can be activated.

How to get to landfill 8

I’ll note right away that getting to this training ground before the plot of the game takes you to the research center will not work. This building will simply be closed. On the way to the science center, you can find a Shuttlecock standing near the road. Climb it and hack one of the surveillance cameras. Connect to the camera farthest from Volan, located next to the science center, and activate the device located among the trees.

To activate the other two devices, connect to the Shuttlecock located on the roof of the science center. Select the upper right chamber and open the building with Grif's control terminal. After that, a second clue should appear next to this building, indicating the possibility of activating the device hidden behind it. The device is in the tunnel below, but you will be able to activate it through the ground.

The last equipment is activated using the same Shuttlecock on the roof of the science center. This time, connect to the camera in the upper left corner of the map for a hint to appear. Activatedevice - the elevator is ready for operation. Head to the elevator inside the science center, above which all three lights are glowing green. Go inside and press the button to be at the bottom. As soon as you go down, you will find yourself on range 8.

The first puzzle is quite simple and requires you to jump on several magnetic platforms. First, use the shock on the ceiling magnets to raise the platform in front. However, you don't need to switch to it. Instead, jump to the right and then to the magnetic platform on the right side of the room that you let go when you shot the ceiling.

While on the magnetic platform, jump onto the metal platform straight ahead. Keeping to the right side of the room, jump onto the raised square platform in front. Use the shock on the ceiling magnets and jump onto the magnetic platforms. Climb up the platforms and follow through the door.

After passing through it, you will hear the sound made by the bronze Lutyagin. The chest contains an upgrade for the Star.

Silver chest

You will find yourself in a large hydraulic test chamber, where you will be ambushed by a large enemy group. Defeat everyone or go past to the opposite side of the room. There will be a large green container that you can climb on. Jump from it to the exit door. Go through the door and followcorridor to find the silver Lutyagin. You will receive an upgrade for the Fox.

golden chest

The golden chest requires a lot of effort. Make your way through the large room by jumping on the hanging platforms. Then go through the door and find the room with the polymer liquid. Swim through the polymer and drop down the hole in the middle of the room. At the bottom you will see a door with five empty candle slots. You need to pick up candles from the floor and throw them into the slots. Once all five candle slots are full, press the button in the next room and go through the door.

Behind the door, you'll find the hardest part at Range 8. Luckily, there's a trick. Move to the scaffolding in the room on the left and jump to the candle stand in the other room. Don't take a candle! Instead, look for ledges sticking out of a large metal box. Jump on them and use them to get to the top of the container. Once on it, use telekinesis to pull the candle and the container will start to move.

Once this happens, look back to see some yellow bars attached to the far wall. You need to time your jump and dash towards the rails while the container is moving.
