Dead Island 2, the sequel to Dambuster Studios' original 2011 zombie slayer game, is finally out and has already garnered dozens of critical acclaim. While the main story takes an average of 20 hours to complete, there are plenty of extra activities to do in a zombie-infested world. Among the collectibles, safes stand out, which contain useful resources, new weapons and blueprints.
In Dead Island 2, you can find about 50 safes, and opening each one is a difficult task. To unlock them, gamers must find a specific zombie with a unique name, which drops the key to the safe when killed. Below we explain how to find all keys and locked safes/boxes.
It's important to note that most zombies won't spawn until you discover them for the first time during the main story of the game. If you can't find something specific, make sure you've advanced enough in the storyline for it to show up.

You will get to this mansion according to the main plot. You will need a key card not to get inside, but to get out of the penthouse. Getting into the mansion is very simple, just find the glass roof on the veranda and break it. Going down, find the streamer. There will be a key card on the table.
To obtain this key, you need to complete the additional task "Benefits of Civilization". Until this moment, the key in the mansion simply will not appear. If you have fulfilled the condition, go back and climb to the balcony above the pool. Here you will see a window that you can break and enter the room. Also break the glass railing to run and jump to the window. Inside, examine the left cabinet next to the bed. After completing the above task, the master key will appear here.
You also have the right to go up to the floor above and jump to the balcony fromtwo sun loungers. Breaking the glass will set off the alarm. Disable it as soon as possible. In the same room, you will find the Weighting skill, an audio recording, and some supplies.
In the streamer room to the left of the bed you will find a safe. To open it, you need another key. But getting it is not as easy as it might seem at first glance.
