Chamber of secrets, undead, loot, how to open the doors in the Dark Crypt

The Dark Crypt is a playable dungeon in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3). In our guide, we will tell you more about all the rooms of the Dark Crypt, quests, enemies, important items and provide general recommendations for its passage.

Inside the sarcophagus lies an unusual weapon and an engraved key. Open it, which will activate the traps. However, you can place vases or boxes on the floor grates to prevent oil from seeping through the holes. There is a button on the central column to the left of the sarcophagus. By clicking on it, you can turn off the fire trap. To discover it, it is important to pass a perception test.

There is also a soul coin in this part of the crypt. It lies on the floor next to one of the smaller sarcophagi. in sector X:-303 Y:-331.

On the other side of the sarcophagus, in one of the rooms, there is a "Book of Dead Gods". If you manage to open it with a Strength, Dexterity, or Intelligence check, you will receive several spell scrolls. A successful religion check will provide more information about this crypt.

Prepare your team for battle before pressing the hidden button in the left hallway, because all the dead scribes and warriors are about??ivut. Beforehand, you can search their corpses and pick up weapons, which will facilitate the future battle. Once defeated, find the rare amulet of lost voices in the secret room along with the hooded undead (withered) who claim to be the caretaker of the place. Lucky for you, the Withered One doesn't want to fight. Search the area and leave.

In the future, the Withered One will appear in the camp and for 200 gold coins he will resurrect the fallen characters.
