Risk of Rain Returns - How to Find All Artifacts

In Risk of Rain Returns, you can purchase artifacts that significantly change the gameplay of the game. For example, some will make you a powerful source of damage, but will reduce your health by 90%, while others will make items drop from monsters rather than from chests. We'll tell you where to find all the artifacts in Risk of Rain Returns and what they are needed for.

Cognation

Enemies leave behind a temporary clone upon death.

To access the Kinship Artifact, find a hidden location in one of the six different versions of the Desert Forest (number 4 in the book). Identify this specific area in the screenshot provided and go there along the vine located close to the ground to reach the underground room.

Once you enter the hidden area, turn on both wall switches. It's a good idea to start with the top switch as it's harder to press.

Upon successful activation of both switches?A golem will appear, just kill it and collect it.

Command

Items no longer appear randomly! Now the player can choose any item at will, depending on its quality.

You can find the Control Artifact in a cluster of hives. Head to the east side of the map and look for ropes crossing the chasm.

Use the ropes to cross the gap and take the artifact.

Distortion

Blocks abilities every minute, but the remaining ones have a reduced recovery time.

When you reach the Wet Caves, head to the upper-eastern part of the map. When you get there, you'll find three platforms with strange contraptions on them.

The catch here is that you need to increase your character's jumping ability to reach them. When you get there, use the ability on the crate and a Distortion Artifact will appear.

Enigma

Are you showing up?Equipped with random equipment that changes every use.

To do this you need to get to the Sunken Tomb. Go to the southeast corner of the map and find a hole. Jump down and it will knock you back to where you can find this artifact.

Glass 

Increases damage to 500%, but reduces health to 10%.

Roll down into the Frozen Tundra and climb up the west or east side of the mountain. Eventually you will come across an alcove leading into a cave. Once you get there, you'll need to find some buttons to press. Once you hit the last one, an Artifact will appear.

Honor

All enemies become Elite.

Go to the Desert Forest and find a narrow tunnel in the western part of the map. You can go through it and head south then west and you will find a ladder you can climb up to get this artifact.

Kin

This will appear on the maponly one type of enemy.

Go to the Dry Lake map and look for a partially broken piece of wall. You can destroy it by hitting it with your weapon, which will reveal a hidden area.

Press the three buttons inside and the Artifact will appear.

Sacrifice

Chests no longer appear. Instead, items will drop when monsters die.

When you get to Magma Barracks, you will need to start looking for three buttons. They aren't that hard to find.

You want attacks that can break through the wall surrounding them. Once you activate all three, you can find the Artifact in the southern part of the map.

Spirit 

The less health you have left, the faster you move.

Head to the Temple Ruins and go to the east side of the map. Once there, jump off the side and land on the hidden platforms. Once you land, continue east and jump on the platforms and you will find it.

Spite

Enemies explode when they die.

Once you get to the Sky Meadow map, find a small dy??у, which will take you to the bottom of the map. Then simply follow the platforms until you reach the artifact.

Tempus

Each item can be picked up several times, but now all items are temporary.

To unlock the Artifact, simply travel to the Temple of the Elders and collect the Artifact in under 16 minutes. Be careful, the artifact must be picked up before 16:00. otherwise it seems to disappear.

So far, every time I had seen the artifact, it was in one of the tall vertical sections of the tower, in front of what looked like a hole in the wall.

Dissonance

Monsters can appear outside of their normal environment.

The first shard that unlocks the artifact can be found in the lower left corner of the Suken Tombs. Just jump over the ledge, hug the wall, and slide inside to grab it.

The next shard can be found in the Ancient Valley at the top of the mountain, nearby there is a rope leading to a secret area, go down and grab the shard.

The third shard can be found in the hive cluster in the top row towards the center. You will see it inside the rock, climb to the top of the rock and then jump to the top right corner to get behind the wall.

The last shard can be found in the magma barracks (not in all variants), once against it, at the top of the stage, jump onto the path and then jump over to collect the shard.

Prestige

At least one Temple of the Mountain appears in each stage. The effect of “Mountain Sanctuary” is not reset.

Achieve a Gold rank in at least 15 Providence Challenges.

Origin

Artifact of Origin - every 10 minutes it rushes in to hang the devils and calls on its charges.

To open this Artifact you need to open some previous Artifacts of the game.

After opening them, you must activate all Artifacts at the same time and go with them to the final level.

On the bottom layer of the Seer's Arena there will be a computer and several markers with Artifacts. Kill the Seer and get an Artifact.
