All Endings in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

The ending you'll get largely depends on your gameplay. The main goal is to retrieve Antea's body after her death, with her spirit bound to Red. Ultimately, it comes down to a choice: to resurrect or to lay Antea to rest. Your choice determines your interaction with the people of New Eden. In almost every story quest and Haunting Case, Red and Antea face a choice: sacrifice the haunted settler to satisfy Antea's hunger with Essence, or ascend or banish the spirit haunting them to feed her with less Essence, thereby preserving her humanity. At various points, Red will be asked to swear an oath to Antea, and if you want one of the best endings, you'll need to adhere closely to your promise.

ENDING 1: (Resurrection of Antea) Despite the reunion of Red and Antea, the price is too high. Though the ending may seem like the best option for Red. To achieve this ending, you'll have to kill almost all settlers who encounter ghosts. Most of them are guilty and deserving of death, but the moral choice underlying these accusations is truly difficult, so be prepared for a real challenge. You'll have to kill at least 80 percent of the people who encounter ghosts, and yet the best way to ensure this is to destroy everyone you can.

ENDING 2: (Giving Antea her Ascent) This ending is considered favorable not because everyone lives happily ever after, but because it has the fewest casualties. In this ending, your goal is to ascend Antea from the realm of spectral shadows, and to do so, you must ascend most ghosts. There are only 23 ghost cases in the game, and in each of them, you have a choice: sacrifice, ascend, or banish the ghost. To achieve this outcome, you need to ascend the majority of ghosts — at least 80 percent of them, but it's better to do even more. However, even if you miss a few cases, it won't affect the outcome much.

ENDING 3: (Neutral) ending, in which Red also seeks to resurrect Antea. To achieve this, you must spare more settlers and accuse fewer. To achieve it, you must sacrifice a larger number, while still sparing more people.

ENDING 4: (Bad) ending, which can be obtained by violating Red's oaths, by killing or sparing a greater number of settlers in contradiction to what you promised.
