Passage No Rest for the Wicked - Potion Merchant

In the Ion Grotto, located in the first region of the game, you can talk to Marcos, who will ask you to find a special flower - ion color. There will be several challenging puzzles with platforming elements, you will also have to kill dangerous enemies.

You can start the quest by finding a ladder south of the fire pit, near which two NPCs are sitting. At the bottom of the ladder is a glowing entrance to the cave. A red circle marks the location where the ladder should be:

It's in the Orban Swamps (when you open the gate with the Fillmore Key and leave the Sea Fortress). Finding the flower isn't that hard. What's hard is what happens afterward. Continue on the eastern path and then go down into the stone cave. There are plenty of enemies here. There's a wooden passage on the east side of the cave, where you can run and jump to grab onto vines leading to the next area.

Climb up to the top, then go north to reveal a ladder. Climb up the ladder and continue on your way. You will come to a dead end. Drop down to the ledge on the left side, which leads to a wall of vines that can be used to get to the next level. Activate the Whisper. Continue north and you'll pass a spiral path leading to a flower. Interact with it, and suddenly the world around you will change. You will see previously unseen paths. This is just the beginning!

The next part of the quest tells you to take the off the beaten path and climb higher, so go back the way you came, up the new invisible steps. Return to Whisper and head southeast to find an invisible path leading to the loot. Head back down the invisible path, but then head west to find another chest.

After looting the chest, jump down to where a single torch is glowing, and south of it is a path that continues the quest. Continue along the winding path until you reach a vertical wall of vines and climb it. Deal with the enemy and head west. You will find a wide passage to another group of vines that you can climb. There are two enemies at the top, so be careful not to fall off the platform. When you're done with everyone, find the next invisible passage on the right side. Be careful with the next jump off the platform. You'll see it to the right of the stone pillar you're standing on. I failed this jump too many times.

It is further north than you think, so jump carefully and continue to the next stone pillar. Follow the right path to stealthily kill the enemy and take the loot from the chest. After that, go back to the stone pillar you came from and head to the eastern path. At this point you should start sprinting, as the enemies on the right will shoot fire projectiles. Once up the invisible stairs, stop and put a buff or heal on yourself. Up ahead is a mini-boss, he has a large melee weapon. You can attack it with bombs. Put oil on your weapon to deal more damage. Keep walking down the path and eventually pass out and your mind will clear from the fog and drugs you recently took. Run through the hole ahead and jump down into a pool of water that will lead to a ladder.

Go down and talk to Marcos to complete the quest and get the medium experience potion, which you need to use to level up.
