All AFK Journey Chests— Where to Find All of them

There are two types of chests to find in AFK Journey: regular treasures, which can be small, medium or large. The other type of chests are Crimson Treasures, which contain more valuable rewards and are usually guarded by treasure guardians.

Holystone

In Holystone, you will find 2 Crimson Chests and 13 regular chests in the locations shown above.

Golden Wheatshire 1

There are 2 Crimson Chests and 16 regular chests in the location.

To clear the locked area, go northwest on the map and find the hidden entrance.

The entrance will lead you to the Ruin Cave, where you'll have to solve a fairly simple puzzle.

Don't forget to step on the two pressure plates to open another chest!

Golden Wheatshire 2

There are 2 Crimson chests and 9 regular chests in the location.

Solving the light puzzle will give you another chest. To solve it, simply point all the lights at the receptors and the treasure chest will appear.

Cliff Bottom Cave

There are 1 Crimson Chest and 2 regular chests located in the Utes-Dno Cave.

Golden Wheatshire 3

There are 3 Crimson Chests and 11 regular chests located on the location.

Solving the pressure plate puzzle will give you a chest, and to solve it, you must drag two boulders into the plates and step on the third. The hidden chest will be revealed.

Golden Wheatshire 4

The location contains 3 purple chests and 9 regular chests.

You can access the manor tunnel after completing the Golden Banquet part of the main quest.

Golden Wheatshire 5

The location contains 3 purple chests and 10 regular chests.

After solving the light puzzle, you will get the last treasure chest.

Dark Forest 1

There are 3 Crimson Chests and 14 Normal Chests in the location.

To find the three hidden chests, solve each of the plate puzzles shown on the map above. Illuminate all the plates by stepping on each one and the chests will open.

Completing the side quest Secrets of the Horns will give you another chest. To access the quest, go through the portal in the northwest part of the Dark Forest map.

Dark Forest 2

There are 3 purple chests and 11 regular chests located at the 3 purple location.

The last chest is located in the southwestern part of the Dark Forest, and you will have to interact with another Deer Spirit Altar to open this chest (Secrets of the Horn).

Dark Forest 3

In Dark Forest 3, you will find 3 Crimson Chests and 12 regular chests.

The hidden chests can be found by solving the plate puzzles and 2 easy puzzles.

The last chest can be found by interacting with the Deer Spirit Altar.

Dark Forest 4

There are 3 Crimson Chests and 11 regular chests located in Dark Forest 4.

You will again find hidden chests by solving plate puzzles and light puzzles. Not to mention, there is another Rogue Mysteries here for which you will get a chest.

Dark Forest 5

There are 3 Crimson Chests and 11 regular chests in the location.

You will get the hidden chests by solving the Plate Mystery and the Mystery of the Horns.

Dark Forest 6

There are 3 Crimson Chests and 12 regular chests in the location.

Again, the hidden chests will reveal themselves to you when you complete the Light Puzzle, the Pressure Plate Puzzle and the Mysteries of the Horns.

Dark Forest 7

The location contains 3 Crimson chests and 12 regular chests.

A new puzzle is presented this time, where you will need to collect all the checkpoint flags in the allotted time. This will give you a chest.

And like all the other Dark Forest analogs, you'll need to solve the Light Puzzle and Plate Puzzle, as well as the final Rogue Mysteries.

Vaduso Mountains

The final area, Vaduso Mountains 1, includes 2 Crimson Chests and 9 Normal Chests.

Complete the plate puzzle to get the hidden chest. This is actually a new puzzle where you have to light all the plates, except this time there are purple plates that will take you to other plates, adding more depth to the puzzle.
