Zenless Zone Zero is based on the "Gacha" system, where the player spins roulette in hopes of getting 5-star agents or amplifiers. To do this, you need to buy signal-seeking items: master copies and cypher copies with special currency - polychromes.

However, the developers from HoYoverse decided to support newcomers by providing an opportunity to get a legendary fighter in the rookie banner in a relatively short time. However, the chances of getting rare characters in this banner are as low as in the others. This is where the reroll comes to the rescue.

Reroll allows you to enter the lottery almost unlimited times by creating new accounts. But this requires performing a number of tedious steps.

Disadvantages of rerolling

MiHoYo isn't thrilled with the fact that players can reduce the element of randomness and knock out the right characters from the start of the game. Here are the problems you may encounter:

  • Access to the Signal Retrieval system is only available after completing a certain section of the story, which means the same moments are repeated multiple times, which can ruin your first impression of the game.
  • Rewards for pre-registration and gifts from the developers significantly speed up the reroll. Without them, the process will take even longer.
  • Pre-registration rewards can only be used in standard and initial banners, which makes it difficult to get a legendary fighter from the Dedicated Channel, as the probability of it falling out is only 0.6%.
  • You'll have to create multiple email accounts.
  • A single reroll can take about 25-35 minutes to complete.
  • Step-by-step instructions for a Zenless Zone Zero reroll
  • Preparation: Create 10-15 new email addresses. It's better to use Google to quickly register new accounts on the game's official website, linking them to Google.
  • Go through the initial missions: Watch the opening splash screen and start the first story mission. Continue through the main quests until you unlock the Signal Search system and enter promo codes.
  • Obtaining Resources: Ideally you will be able to obtain 30 master copies (or 40 if you reach Internot level 5), 15 banbullets, 1 cipher copy, and 300-600 polychromes. Spend the master copies on a rookie banboulette to have a high probability of knocking out a 5-star agent (this requires 40 twists), and the premium currency to buy cyphercopies to try to knock out an event hero.

Bottom Line:

  • Perfect result: Two 5-star characters (one standard and one event character).
  • Excellent result: Two of any 5-star character.
  • Good result: One 5-star character that you need.

If you are happy with the result, continue to develop this account. If not, you can start over or continue to level 5 Internot, which will take 50-60 minutes. This will give you more attempts to knock out the character you want.

How to do a reroll quickly?

  • Use sprint to move quickly.
  • Ignore secondary enemies and chests - all of which can be dealt with later.
  • Skip dialogs by clicking the icon in the upper right corner.
  • Enter promo codes to get additional polychromes.
  • If you fail, create a new account immediately without wasting time earning polychromes.

Characters to reroll

When rerolling, try to get the following 5-star characters:

  • Ellen (Ice, Offense): Strong damager, freezes enemies, boosts attacks.
  • Lycaon (Ice, Intimidation): Secondary damager, stuns enemies, combines well with ice characters.
  • Rina (Electro, Support): Reinforces allies, increasing their pierce chance and damage.
  • Kolyada (Fire, Terror): Primary or secondary damager, stuns enemies, combines well with Ben.
  • Soldier 11 (Fire, Assault): Main-DD, deals fire damage.

Can I get banned for rerolling?

Most likely, a ban for rerolling is unlikely. The developers have to ban you by IP, which is difficult and unlikely. Creating new profiles is even good for the company, improving stats and attracting investors. But you should not abuse it and try to do a reroll 20-30 times. Now you know how to do a reroll in Zenless Zone Zero and who to target when doing so. Good luck!
