Where to find a gun?

Where to find the hunting rifle?

The hunting rifle is the most powerful weapon in the remake of Silent Hill 2. You can find it in the armory of Toluca Prison, one of the first rooms in the location. That is, almost immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately, the room is locked; a note nearby mentions that the key is likely in the witness interrogation area. You can't get there right away, as the room is locked with a security system. Instead, you need to go through the door with the headless snake to get to the death penalty area.

Proceed through the area until you reach the execution chamber. You need to reset the generator, which will turn off the power in the area and unlock all the doors. After that, head to the right room and take the key from the table. The nearby door leads back to the main prison hall, where you started, so you can quickly return to the armory.

Where to find a chainsaw?

When you beat the game for the first time, you will unlock the New Game Plus mode, which opens up a lot of new content, including additional endings that you will not be able to see during a normal run. One of the big advantages of a new start is the chainsaw, a powerful melee weapon that can kill several enemies at once with literally one attack. You can find the chainsaw along the road on the way to Silent Hill at the very beginning of the game. If you remember, you need to go through the forest to the cemetery where Angela is. A little further there is a sawmill. If you check the right side of the road near the sawmill, you can find the chainsaw sticking out of a pile of logs.
