As Dana Rose, we arrive in Wagen by tram.
After disembarking, we walk to the right, hurrying to Frau Beckman on the main
street. Along the way, you can explore the surroundings, marked with white dots
on the map. To move quickly, use the Shift key or double-click the left mouse

Check out the newsstand - you'll find a
postcard inside. Go up the stairs and check out the painting on the left, which
will activate a side quest.
In the alley on the right, the owner of a
bookstore is fixing windows after vandalism. Answer his questions, after which
you will be asked to draw something on the fresh cement at the entrance. Choose
one of three drawings, which will give you the achievement "Leave a
mark...".
At the end of the alley, read the sign. On the
main street, in the far left corner, listen to two people talking and read the
red sign above. This will give you the achievement "Parallel
Investigation".
In the central square you are expected to
perform on an unusual piano. Frau Beckmann will ask to see the invitation.
Select the "Pass" option and then "right" to select another
item.
Sit at the piano. Grab the lever on the left
and pull it down (hold LMB and move the mouse down). Place the notes of Vagen's
anthem on the central stand and start playing. This will start the mechanism
that powers the robot musicians.
We play as Kate Walker. Waking up in
captivity, we find ourselves in a cell with another prisoner, Katyusha. Talk to
her.
Wash yourself in front of the mirror on the
left, examine your talisman - Oscar's Heart, paying attention to the small
window. Take your equipment to the right of Katyusha's bed.
Self-analysis

Suddenly a brick falls into the shop window.
Examine it - there is a note on it. The father will take the note, saying that

Kate rereads the letter about her mother's
death while Katyusha works in the mine. Choose how to answer her cellmate.

the button underneath it. A handle will appear on the lower left drawer. Open
it - inside is the "Brown Shadows" sign. Place the sign on the table
and turn it. In the secret place on the right is the officer's keychain.
Exit the train and give the keys to Katyusha.
Having received the remaining key, open the lock on the freight car (hold down
LMB and rotate the mouse in a circle). Quickly and frequently press LMB to move
the door to the left (otherwise you will fall).
Inside are valuable items: a vase, a dish,
four old paintings (the same ones were in Wagen's antique shop ). Katyusha will
find a tube with a portrait of Dana Rose . Examine the painting and the
inscription in the corner. Katyusha will notice the resemblance of the girl in
the portrait to Kate .
The warden will appear and kill Katyusha, but
Kate will manage to fight her off. Before she dies, Katyusha will ask to find
the girl from the portrait. Kate will get on the motorcycle, start it and drive
out of the tunnel.

Show Kate leaving Siberia on her motorbike in
winter and reaching Vagen in central Europe.
At the Frau Wagner Hotel, look at the phone
book and map. In the book, mark three shops where paintings may be sold (pawn
shop, department store, antique shop), crossing out the rest.
In the lower right corner of each store there
are coordinates on the map (D3, E5, C4). Mark them on the map.
Choose which store to visit first. Kate will
only agree to C4. Take a page from the phone book.
Inspect the main hall: chess on the far table,
newspaper "Headlines - Illegal Mine Closed" by the fireplace,
internet access behind the fireplace (read the mail, get the achievements
"From scratch" and "Search engine").
On the top floor, read three types of
leaflets. Examine the map and enter the right door. In the room, take the
wallet, Katyusha's plectrum and the mysterious painting. Examine the board with
the investigation and the painting of the Musical Square. Sit on the bed for
self-analysis.
Downstairs, talk to Frau Wagner. Knock on the
occupied phone booth three times and select "Listen" (achievement
"Playing Spy"). Exit through the right door.

On one plate is Hans's logo (number 293670). Slide the plate slightly higher.

Press it. A recess with a tiny part will open on the back. Press the button on
the tip of the part, turning it into a key. Slide another plate.
On the two dials, slide the latch down and
press the central button. Enter the code 29-36-70 by turning the dials one by
one.
In the opened cross-shaped slot use the tiny
piece as a key. In the large recess place Oscar's heart, open the window and
wind it with the tiny piece.
The sphere will turn into a mechanical
armadillo , Oscar will come to life and talk. Then he will lose control and the
armadillo will run away.
To the left of the chest seller are keys 01
and 03 on the table, key 02 is in the drawer under the table, key 04 is on the
right at the top, near the books. Key 04 fits the chest.
The armadillo will hide under the furniture on
the right. Take the mop and move the armadillo.
Oscar will run up the stairs, then jump off
the balcony. Find him: 1) on the left under the canopy, 2) on the right near
the sled. He will run into the left alley. You won't be able to convince him.
Oscar will disappear into the sewers.
Return
to Müller
Returning to the store, you will find that
Müller is not upset about the loss of goods - the automatons have long ceased

Mountains
Upon arrival at the mountain site, examine the
empty shed on the left and the three posters under the canopy on the right.
Exit to the mountain path through the red door. Perform
"Self-Analysis".

Look at the view from the withered tree: 1)
tree tops in the center, 2) mountains in the center, 3) house on the mountain
on the top left.
Inspection of the memorial plaque to the
Resistance fighters
On the left path, find a sign on a rock. Under
it is a smoldering cigarette butt.
Read the hiking advice board. Cross the bridge
over the waterfall and climb the stairs. Examine the generator on the left. On
the right, compare the painting to the terrain, noting: 1) the sharp peaks on
the upper right, 2) the railings below, 3) the heart-shaped rock on the left
near the girl's eyes.
An old woman in a wheelchair appears and
recognizes the girl in the painting – it was her friend Leni Renner , who will
tell about her meeting with Dana. Rose .
Syberia : TWB. Camp
Dana arrives at a mountain camp for a summer
job as a waitress. Her job is to serve a group of scientists preparing for a
hike. After talking with the owner, Gustav, Dana receives an order from a
mountain climber.
After filling the tray with drinks as ordered
(1 Spitze , 1 Spitze + Birne , 2 Nebel ), she delivers them to the scientists.
A conversation with the scientists, using various objects on the table
(equipment, scientist on the left, map ), reveals that they are looking for a
yeti on behalf of the nationalist party. The conflict with the customer is best
resolved by remaining calm, so as not to anger Gustav. After collecting the
dishes, Dana leaves.

of paintings
At the bottom, by the stairs, are two
paintings and a note from Gustav asking you to choose one to buy. Choosing
either painting gives you the "Artistic Dilemma" achievement.
On the terrace, photographer Yunta takes
pictures of Leon, a professional climber. Leni, envious Yunte stole her lens.
The binoculars allow you to see the surrounding mountains.
Furnace
repair
To the left of the paintings is a stove with a
malfunction. After picking up the fallen valve on the right (near the number
"3"), Dana installs it on the left (above the number "2").
Then, from the box under the stove, she takes two logs and throws them into the
firebox.
After finishing the work, Gustav allows Dana
to play the piano. The music attracts attention, the customer gets drunk and
makes a scandal, but Leon protects Dana , and they go out onto the terrace
together.

The locked telescope requires a coin to unlock
( Kate uses her wallet). By pulling the lever, Kate takes five photos of
mountains with coordinates. Exploring the telescope in 1937 and 2005 gives the
"Tourism" achievement.
Learn
about the region and its history
Examine the railing on the street next to Leni
and the box.
Read the official notice at the barrier.
Talk to the tourist Herman.
Examine the book on the second floor near the
stairs.
Read the newspaper clipping and look at the
photographs in Leni's room.
Examine the box in the attic (Lenya's medal and
factory documents).
Inside the building, Kate examines the tourist
and the piano. On the second floor, she finds the book "The Magic
Mountain", a newspaper clipping, photographs, and a Bible verse in Leni's
room. In the next room are cigarette butts. If a painting was chosen earlier,
it is in the owner's room.
After pulling a lever near the stairs, Kate
goes up to the attic, where she finds a take-up reel, documents from the
Vorarlberg factory , and Leni's medal.
Yunta 's chest is decorated with complex mechanisms.
The top two circles are not active yet. On the left side of the chest are four
rotating images that need to be arranged as follows, Syberia : TWB. Yunta's chest
so that they match the main picture: mountains
on the right (upper left), dark spot on the left (middle and lower left),
greenish spot (lower right). Once correctly positioned, a lever will appear
that needs to be turned.
There are six latches on the right side. Three

Upon opening the chest, Kate will find the
Yunta Tapes , an old envelope with Yunta's recordings on the back. Examining
the envelope will transport Kate to a memory from 1937. An icon will appear in
the upper left corner of the screen to switch between time periods.

Dana takes Yunta's key from the open chest.
The choice between reporting the theft of Leni's lens and keeping quiet results
in the "True Friend" achievement in the second case. Yunta shows
where to hide the key - under the right floorboard near the bed.
Kate searches the right side of the room for a
key, moving the box above the rightmost floorboard. The old key found opens a
panel for entering a four-character code on the right side of the chest.
Dana retrieves the film from the photo
developing room, having memorized the sequence of four symbols (goat, flower,
mountain, tree) on the dryer.
Kate enters the combination into the chest,
opening the bottom to reveal a film projector. With an empty take-up reel on
the right and Yunta's films on the left, Kate views a black-and-white recording
from 1937.

large lever to the right. Turn the small lever at the bottom to the left. You

5 — Piano. Having repaired everything, we go
to the central gazebo. In the center we put the Score of Vagen's Anthem . Below
we press any key of the piano.
The mechanism will open on the left, turn
there. There is a toggle switch in the center, turn it so that it becomes
vertical. On the left and right, push small circles inside the pistons. From
the center of the rotating wheel, take out the Twisting Automaton . It is
broken, it needs to be replaced. Insert it into Oscar's wheel. To the right of
the wheel, lower the lever, and the mechanism will start working.
Let's play a melody. We recognize it, there's
exactly the same one in mother's music box. We go to the academy, the rector
will give us Dana's Dossier. We find out her home address. We return to the
tram, go to the new region "Dana's Old House".
In the block we go down any stairs. You can
only go forward along the street. In the dead end on the right they sell books.

On the 3rd floor there is a bathroom, a broken

Inside the chest we will take the Letter from
Leon and find out his fate.
Leon wakes up in a tent. He examines his
things: Sauer's books , biscuits, an empty flask, a mountain machete, a camera,
a sketchbook, and collects water from a barrel. This action gives the
achievement "Be Prepared".
Before leaving, Leon carefully inspects the
camp: his tent (including books and two chests), a bear skin, a gun, a
blueprint of a gorun , a medallion with a date, and the middle tent with a
locked chest (the password 0408 from the medallion reveals a letter to Frank Höss
).
Following the path, Leon finds Sauer's
belongings by the river, including a book, an axe, a flask, and a white
handprint on a rock.
An encounter with Sauer , who has discovered a
Gorun , leads to the need to cross a river using a felled tree. Leon uses
biscuits to calm the wounded Gorun and improvised means (pieces of vine and
straight branches) to improvise a splint.
At the camp, the scientists cage the Gorun ,
which leads to a nighttime encounter with the Gorun's mother and Berger's death
. Leon, blamed for Berger's death , is knocked unconscious and tied up, but

a diary, medicine, a brochure about the hospital, and an embroidered
handkerchief with her initials. She also examines the toys and a photograph of
her parents. All of this is put into a suitcase, and the diary is placed in a
chest.
Kate explores Dana's room, noting the writing
on the wall and in the hallway. She finds a letter from the asylum and an old
embroidered handkerchief.
Outside, Kate examines a stele with the names
of those killed in the pogroms, using a handkerchief to read the names, including
Dana's parents. In history books, she finds the date of the pogroms.
A meeting with Yunta (Colonel Janet Blake), a
former double agent, leads to a trip to the island.
Kate searches for Anna Rose's grave (Sector
O-8) in the cemetery, using the map and Oscar to navigate. Exploring the
cemetery leads to Anna's grave and Yunta's explanation of Dana and her child's
fate.
Syberia : The World Before . How to place
troops
Dana coordinates the resistance, placing
troops on the map based on reports.
A meeting with Janet Blake leads to a new
mission near Wagen . Repairing the pneumatic tubes and setting up a panel to
receive a report containing the call sign "Edelweiss, Highlander
Creator" indicates that Leon is leading the resistance in Wagen .
After the old lady leaves, Kate picks up
Oscar. The cemetery gates close at 9:00 PM. Kate walks around the section,
discovers a faulty gate mechanism (the handle is missing), finds a pickaxe
(with Oscar's help) and the handle in the barn (after opening the lock with the
pickaxe). After installing the handle on the gate mechanism and examining the
updated map with marked points of interest (Anna, pickaxe, barn, mechanism),
Kate gets the "Cartographer" achievement. She then heads to the tram
stop, heading to the guest house.
Kate arrives at the camp during a storm. She
inspects the generator, gas cans, and finds a key on the bar. The stairs up are
still inaccessible. Kate inspects the common room (including a wheelchair and a
photo of Leon) and, after talking to Herman, learns of the dead.
To get to the tent with the bodies, Kate fills
the generator with fuel from a canister, turns it on, and opens the chest with
a key, finding a handle inside. She ends up searching the tent with the bodies
of Harold Exner , his wife, and Leon Kobatis , without finding Dana .
Kate goes up to the second floor, finds Leni
sleeping and enters a room where she finds Ludwig ( a Gorun ), learns his story
and gets Leon's sketchbook. Kate also examines Ludwig's room (a spool of wire,
posters, weapons, a map, a handprint, a poster - the last one gives the " Super
Resistance " achievement).
Dana meets Leon at the camp. She looks around
her room (including the painting she chose earlier - the "Art
Criticism" achievement) and finds Leon's sketchbook. In the attic, she
discovers Gustav's radio and Vorarlberg's antenna .
After speaking with Ludwig, Leni, Leon, and
Exner , Dana uses the antenna to tune the radio. Deciphering the codes using
radiogram and Morse code (2111.12.121.21 - BARN - 6.9; PEAK - 8.4) allows her
to contact headquarters in London. A flashback reveals the reasons for Leon's
death and Leni's injury, and explains Dana's survival.
In liberated Wagen, Dana arrives at the music
academy, which has become the Allied headquarters. She meets Höss (who is
awaiting a tribunal), Horst and Gustav. Dana visits Lana in the hospital and
tells her about her plans to move to America.
Leni tells her story and allows Kate to read
Dana's letters, which are in the automaton . Kate , using a mechanical key
found in the wheelchair and Oscar, solves a series of puzzles with the
automaton (latches, butterfly, heart, waist, stomach), extracting Dana's
letters from the robot.
Elderly Dana Gongrish , a famous pianist,
examines her dressing room (poster, wedding photo, arrival photo, newspaper
clipping, record player, letters from Remond , cassettes). A phone call from a
nurse at the maternity hospital reveals the fate of her newborn daughter, secretly
given to the Zimmer family .
Dana watches her daughter and her adoptive
parents (the Zimmer family ) in their home. After exploring the house (guests
in the backyard, the "Magic Mountain", children's drawings, photos of
the Zimmer family ), she goes upstairs where she hears young Kate Walker
playing the Wagen Hymn on the piano. They play together, after which Dana
leaves without revealing her presence.
Syberia
: The World Before . The ending of the plot
Kate , after exchanging thoughts with Oscar,
decides to return to New York, since all traces of Dana lead to her past. At
the station, she buys a train ticket, memorizing the carriage number and date.
Calling Olivia from a phone booth, Kate stamps her ticket with a special device
using the date on the ticket. She then boards the desired carriage.
On the train, while studying her plane ticket,
Kate spots the Kantar - Baltayar train through the window. This clue indicates
where Dana is going. At the last moment, Kate changes her plans, transferring
to the train to Baltayar , where she unexpectedly meets Ludovic, and together
they set off on a new journey.
The action game also received a content update.
