How to Get the Code for the Basement Box in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

The box is located in the basement, which you get to by going down the stairs next to the Vatican Post Office. You will probably stumble upon it during the Wild Discovery quest, in which you need to find a stone tablet. Completing this stage will give you the basement key, allowing you to enter the room with the box. There you will also find an inscription that you can photograph for Father Antonio.

At first glance, there are no notes or clues in the room indicating the code for the box. However, everything changes when you pick up the missing stone tablet. After this, a cutscene plays in which Indy is attacked by a guard.

After defeating the guard, examine his body. There will be a note on it with a clue: the code is "last November". The events of the game take place in 1937, so last November is the 11th month of 1936. The code for the box is 1136.

When you open the box, you will receive a new book, Street Scrapper 1, which increases melee damage. If you already have a camera, don't forget to take a picture of the inscription on the basement wall.
