All Fishing Rods in Fisch - The Best Options and How to Get Them

To take your fishing skills to the next level and become the best Fisch fisherman in Roblox, you should think about getting the best fishing rods as soon as possible. The flimsy fishing rod that every player is given at the beginning of the game has no useful properties, and its stats are just terrible. However, not as terrible as the 300 credits training rod, which, just think about it, reduces luck by 70%.

Best Fisch Rods

While there are many different rods to choose from, your fishing experience will be directly affected by the rod you use at any given time. Some rods increase your chance of catching rare fish (like gold or rainbow), while others allow you to catch fish in special conditions (like lava or night fish during the day). Each rod has its own unique features, but you can only use one at a time.

Fisch Starter Rods

  • The Flimsy Rod will appear in your inventory immediately after you first launch Fisch. It is a good tool at the beginning of the game, but over time you will definitely want to change it.
  • The Training Rod, although it greatly reduces luck, increases the catch scale, which is useful for beginners.

Of course, other rods in the list are more interesting due to their characteristics. For example, the Rod of Destiny is one of the most desirable, but also extremely expensive.

Other fishing rods:

  • Trident and Enhanced fishing rod - described in a separate guide.
  • Aurora's fishing rod - Vertigo
  • Deep fishing rod - Vertigo. Can be obtained by completing the bestiary in Vertigo and passing the labyrinth. Very good (if not the best) for all tasks.
  • Scurvy Fishing Rod - Abandoned Shores
  • No-Life Fishing Rod - Unlocked and given at level 500
  • Sunken Fishing Rod - Treasure Chest
  • Relic Fishing Rod - Unavailable since November 2024

So which rods are better?

Start of the game

The best choice at the start is the Carbon Rod - it is an inexpensive but very effective rod that allows you to catch quite heavy fish thanks to its balanced characteristics.

There is also an alternative option - the Ghost Rod, but you can only get it as part of the FischFright event, so it is not always available.

Mid-game

Once you have accumulated enough money, you will be able to choose between several more powerful rods, each of which is useful for certain purposes:

  • Night Rod - a universal rod that allows you to catch both day and night fish regardless of the time of day. An excellent option for filling out your bestiary, including catching some legendary and mythical creatures.
  • Stable Rod - the best assistant in hunting large mythical fish, such as the Giant Squid, Great White Shark, Whale Shark, Hammerhead Shark and Nessie. Thanks to its high stability, it copes with the most difficult specimens.
  • Magnetic Rod - a specialized rod, ideal for farming money in locations such as Sun Rock, Vertigo and Snow Island. However, despite its effectiveness in earning money, it can be inconvenient for regular fishing.
  • Lightning Rod - has a high bait stat, which speeds up the bite, but has weak stability. Suitable for fast fishing on Harvester's Spike.

Late game

For earning money:

If your goal is to farm, then the Mythical Rod will be the best choice. It has a unique ability - a mythical mutation that increases the value of the caught fish by four times. If you want to earn big amounts, this is your tool.

Also worth mentioning is the Aurora Rod, which has an impressive x6.5 multiplier. However, it can only be obtained during the limited Aurora Borealis event. If you are lucky enough to find the totem to trigger this event and have 90,000 credits, this rod will be a powerful alternative to the Mythic.

For completing the bestiary:

If your goal is to completely collect all the fish in the game, there are two best rods for this task:

  • The King's Rod - obtained from the Altar of the Guardians. It has high stability, which makes it easier to catch large fish.
  • The Trident Rod - found in the Desert Pocket. Very expensive (5 relics, 150,000C$, and 100% completion of the bestiary in the Desert Pocket), but its unique "prick" ability adds progress to the fishing minigame, making the process of catching the most difficult specimens much easier.

Important: The Rod of Destiny and the Rod of Midas are not recommended for purchase - they are significantly inferior to the Rod of Aurora and the Royal Rod, both in characteristics and in usefulness.

Endgame (after the finale)

  • The No-Life Rod - opens only upon reaching level 500, and is considered the most difficult to obtain in the game.
  • The Rod of the Depths is a reward for fully completing the bestiary in the Vertigo location and successfully completing the labyrinth. This is one of the most versatile and powerful rods, suitable for both catching the rarest fish and for farming.
