Where to find iron in V Rising

Unlike copper ore, there is not much iron ore in Vardoran. You will find her in high-level endgame locations, including the Cursed Forest. Unfortunately, the Cursed Forest is a dangerous place where you will encounter high level (60+) enemies that deal incredible damage.

If you feel prepared enough, the Cursed Forest is a great place to farm for iron from iron ore, especially if your base is located in the northwestern part of the Danlí Farmlands, as the nearest cave passage to this area will allow you to quickly escape from the Cursed Forest.

However, Danlí Farmland has a fantastic ore farming spot where you can harvest over 700 iron in just 10 minutes. If you don't like combat, you will find some deposits without enemies.

Not all possible farm locations have been considered. For example, we didn't even touch on some of them, but they are shown on our interactive V Rising map .

What is the best way to farm iron ore in V Rising

By far the best place to mine iron ore is the Phantom Iron Mine, which is located in the southern part of Danlí Farmlands. Here you will find about 46 iron ore deposits that can be processed. There are also chests that can potentially contain iron ore, sulfur, and bones.

The Haunted Iron Mine will not appeal to everyone, as the area is populated by dangerous enemies that roam the entire mine system both inside and out.

The most common enemies you will encounter in this location are level 34 skeleton mages and level 36 skeleton crossbowmen. And then there's the boss Archer Meredith (level 52) with his squad of powerful archers who unleash deadly fire AoE attacks. You can fight her, but if you are not strong enough, when you meet, just run away to another part of the mine. Eventually, she will stop chasing you.

In addition, you will also face the Undead Commander (level 49), who, although not a V-blood carrier, can take you by surprise with his powerful magical attacks. Although the commander is easier to kill on cf?With Meredith, you can still escape from him.

Inside the mine, you will also find several glowing green craters around the main iron ore that spew acid from time to time. When this happens, the cave will begin to shake, and stones will fall from the roof. Soon after, green circles will appear on the ground, indicating where the acid will fall. To avoid damage, you need to act quickly.

If you are planning to explore the Ghost Iron Mine, it is highly recommended to take at least one copper weapon with you, however, if it will be much easier with something higher level. It is also highly recommended to bring Rat Potions and Parasite Balm with you to recover from the damage taken.

In 10 minutes in the ghost mine, we were able to mine over 700 iron ore with the Merciless Copper Mace (1 copper mace, 2 raw topaz, 8 whetstones and leather), as well as 12 infernal clarions, which were picked up in parallel with farming iron.

Now, the huge amount of iron ore isn't the only reason we highly recommend gathering iron ore here, as it's also very close to the two Way Gates you'll find on the same V Rising interactive map . So way?The situation in this region is not so difficult (in terms of movement). But, unfortunately, as soon as you collect the resources, you will not be able to use the gate (or you will have to throw out the resources), so you will have to go to the castle on foot (or on a horse).

Blueprint and Recipe for Iron Ingots

Put the collected iron ore into the furnace to turn it into iron ingots. This can only be done after defeating Quincy, the King of Thieves - boss and carrier of V-blood level 37. Defeating him will also unlock recipes for iron weapons, a forge, and a tailor's workbench, which will help you significantly increase the level of equipment.
