The "Technologies of the Future" event for War Thunder will end on April 12

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the “Technologies of the Future” event in the military online action game War Thunder will last until April 12 and will allow access to new rare vehicles: the Soviet SU-76D self-propelled guns, the Japanese destroyer JDS Yūgure, the American light tank XM8 and an early version German F-4F fighter.

To participate in Future Technologies, it is enough to fight in random battles in War Thunder. As a reward for success in battle, players receive materials, shots, and circuit parts needed to assemble the futuristic Minotaur tank, which in turn can be exchanged for prize vehicles.

The SU-76D self-propelled gun is an experimental light tank destroyer with the lowest possible profile, closed cabin, inclined armor plates in the front projection and a diesel engine, proposed during the Second World War by the designers of the Gorky Automobile Plant. He did not go into series due to difficulties in creating a domestic diesel engine of the required power.

Yūgure was a Fletcher-class destroyer in service with the US Navy during World War II and transferred to Japan in the late 1950s, where it was modified and used as an anti-submarine and training ship.
